Grazzano Visconti is a medieval village in the province of Piacenza, famous for its frescoes, sculptures, towers, fountains and balconies. Like any respectable village, it also has a ghost, that of aloisa, the bride of an army captain who was betrayed and died of pain, spotted for the first time by the local Duke. Several statues are dedicated to her that you will see in the streets of the village, now the protector of lovers.

The beauty of this small village can be admired especially during the Christmas period, when the village of grazzano Visconti dresses in celebration with its markets of Natel,  that every year attract thousands of visitors looking for typical products and unique pieces to give away or give themselves to decorate their homes.

From 16 November 2019 to 06 January 2020 in fact you can find the beautiful markets for the streets and squares of the village, with many stalls of handicrafts and food and wine offers, beyond various events, attractions for children with animations, rides, games, chestnuts and delicacies. Also present is the House of Santa Claus.

On January 6, the last day of the Christmas Market, is expected the arrival of the Befana and the realization of the bonfire brusa the old in cortevecchia that will mark the end of the Christmas holidays.
During the opening dates of the Christmas Market, the Castle Park can be visited with special guided tours, and it is planned the exceptional opening of the oratory of Sant’Anna, decorated with Christmas theme.

By car: Grazzano Visconti is 11 km from Piacenza and can be reached from the A1 motorway exit Piacenza Sud. Follow the signs for “Stadio” and then for the provincial 654 valnure – tavern – grazzano Visconti

By train: Piacenza train station. From here bus, suburban line (orange) direction Ponte carmiano and extra-urban (blue) direction bettola or Selva.
